Monsoon releases bedlam in north Gujrat, 25 dead in state


Heavy rain coupled with gusts incapacitated the four districts of north Gujrat. At least 27 people died in the state due to heavy rainfall. A building collapsed in the state which caused four people died while one person was electrocuted in the town. The state was battered with the incessant rain caused a flood like situation. Around 400 villages in the state are without electricity after 1500 poles got uprooted. National Disaster Response Force teams had reached to the spot and helped people to shift in the safest locations in the district. In Mount Abu, people were stranded as the road leading to the hill station was closed due to landslides.
